[Boston, MA] – Skreens announced the appointment of Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Lynn Birch to its Board of Directors as a Board Observer and Advisor, further strengthening the company’s leadership team. In addition, Skreens has expanded its Strategic Advisory Board with the appointments of industry veterans Peter Scott, Ashish Patel, and Joel Derrico, bringing decades of experience across sports media, cloud infrastructure, and advanced video technology to support Skreens’ mission of transforming live sports entertainment. Lynn Birch
Lynn Birch, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Skreens, brings more than three decades of product and engineering leadership across video, networking, and hardware/software systems. Before co-founding Skreens in 2014, she led advanced products and product management at IneoQuest (later acquired by Telestream), following earlier roles at US Robotics/3Com, and Motorola’s Information Systems Group. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an M.S. in Innovation from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, and has been active as a public speaker with Innovation Women and as an adjunct professor at New England Institute of Technology. As a Board Observer and Advisor at Skreens, Birch leverages deep domain expertise in semiconductor, cloud video, AI technology, and product scaling to guide the company’s roadmap and partnerships.

Peter Scott
Peter Scott is recognized across the industry as a pioneer in sports content distribution, video technology, and digital innovation. He is an Emmy-winning digital strategist with deep experience at the intersection of sports, media, and technology. He is the current Chief Strategy Advisor at Play Anywhere and former VP of Emerging Media & Innovation at Warner Bros. Discovery, where he led initiatives in interactive viewing, live virtual production, sports betting, ecommerce, and NIL across Turner Sports (NBA, NHL, MLB, March Madness) while building partnerships in AI and computer vision. Previously, as VP of Emerging Media at Turner Studios, he modernized production for TNT, TBS, and Adult Swim and scaled social content across major platforms.

Ashish Patel
Ashish Patel brings a proven track record of leadership from MediaKind, where he led critical initiatives in broadcast and cloud-based streaming platforms. Prior to MediaKind, Ashish held senior roles at Amazon Prime Video, Comcast, and Meta (Facebook), where he contributed to scaling video infrastructure to billions of users. His expertise bridges traditional broadcast, hyperscaler cloud ecosystems, and next-generation video delivery, positioning him to help Skreens accelerate adoption of BYOMV across global operators.

Joel Derrico
Joel Derrico brings a deep engineering pedigree to the Advisory Board, with multiple advanced degrees including a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and UPenn and extensive experience in system design, signal processing, and next-generation video platforms. A recognized industry leader; he sits on the advisory boards of Mediaexcel and Qligent, chairs the SCTE Digital Program Insertion (DPI) Work Group and has contributed to key standards including SCTE 35, 130, and 224. His hands-on expertise and academic foundation will accelerate Skreens’ innovation in live streaming, low-latency delivery, and AI-assisted personalization..
