Location: This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located in and authorized to work from the Los Angeles, CA, or Phoenix, AZ, metropolitan areas at the time of hire and throughout employment.

Travel: 30–50%, including frequently to the Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Denver, CO metro areas

The Role

Skreens is hiring a Director of Solutions Architect to lead the technical side of strategic customer engagements.

This is a senior, customer-facing role at the intersection of revenue, product, and solution architecture. You will work directly with major media accounts to define solution fit, lead technical discovery, design deployment architectures, run evaluations, and help convert complex opportunities into production wins.

Your work will directly influence how Skreens technology is adopted by the market and how live streaming architecture evolves toward more dynamic, personalized, and monetizable experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Lead technical discovery and solution design for strategic media and streaming accounts

  • Partner with Sales to advance complex opportunities from evaluation through technical close

  • Design architectures for the live video pipeline, including encoding, packaging, advertising, and personalization workflows

  • Run workshops, demos, POCs, and executive-level technical presentations

  • Build trust with engineering, operations, product, and business stakeholders inside customer organizations

  • Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, solution scopes, and architecture documents

  • Help shape repeatable solution patterns, demo assets, and customer-facing technical materials

  • Serve as a strong voice of the customer to Product and Engineering

  • Strategic sales opportunities move faster with clear technical direction

  • Evaluations and POCs convert more often into production deployments

  • Product direction improves through direct customer and market feedback

  • Skreens becomes more deeply embedded in the future architecture of live media delivery through acquisition of new logos plus cross-sell/upsell within existing customers.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or pre-sales leadership in media, broadcast, streaming, or video infrastructure

  • Deep knowledge of live video workflows, including encoding, packaging, CDN delivery, playback environments, and low-latency streaming

  • Strong grasp of cloud-based media architectures and API-driven integrations

  • Ability to operate credibly with both technical teams and executive stakeholders

  • Proven success supporting complex enterprise deals with broadcasters, content owners, distributors, or streaming platforms

  • High ownership, strong judgment, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience with multiview, personalization, real-time compositing, or advanced live video workflows strongly preferred

The right person will help major media companies understand both how to deploy Skreens and why this architectural shift matters. That work will directly shape how the patented Skreens technology influences the industry and the future of live streaming infrastructure and personalization.
